  Briggsville Spillway:  View Video
Latitude: 43.65342   Longitude: -89.58714
This spillway, which drains Mason Lake, is in downtown Briggsville where Route 23 crosses the South Branch of Neenah Creek.  The spillway is surrounded by private property so getting a good video is difficult... the photo shown here and the video was taken from the bridge over the creek.  So, the only view you can get is thru the trees.

Buffalo Lake Spillway:  View Video
Latitude: 43.78543   Longitude: -89.32692
This new spillway created in 2014 is just 0.46 miles south of Montello on Main Street (Route 22).  The spillway drains Buffalo Lake and flows into the Fox River.  There is a parking lot adjacent to the south side of the spillway.

Germania Spillway:  View Video
Latitude: 43.89390   Longitude: -89.25968
This spillway is located in the Germania Marsh Wildlife Area about 8 miles northwest of Princeton.  From the west side of Princeton go north 3.8 miles on Route 73 and turn left on Eagle Road... follow Eagle Road 4.6 miles and turn right on County Road N... in 0.5 miles turn left onto the entrance road to Germania Marsh.  There is a parking lot at the end of the entrance road adjacent to the spillway.

Montello Quarry Waterfalls:  View Video
Montello Quarry Waterfalls is in Central Marquette County.  Our Wisconsin Waterfalls Travel Guide provides detailed directions of where to find the falls along with GPS coordinates of the site.  When needed the travel guide also provides parking availability information, walking trail details and other information about the site.

Montello Rapids:

This small rapids is in downtown Montello on the north side of Montello Street... access is limited so the best view is from the Montello Bridge over the small stream (Montello River).  The bridge is 1/2 block west of Main Street that goes south from Montello Street.

Montello Spillway:  View Video
Latitude: 43.79311   Longitude: -89.32870
Not much flow thru this spillway which was once part of an old mill.  The water flow here drains Montello Lake which is formed from Montello River.  On down river this stream joins the Fox River. 
The spillway is located one block upstream from Montello Rapids described above.

  Neshkoro Spillway:  View Video
Latitude: 43.96356   Longitude: -89.21692
This spillway drains Neshkoro Millpond in downtown Neshkoro into the White River.  From the center of town (Main Street and Wall Street) go east one block on Wall Street and turn left on State Street... the spillway will be on the right in two blocks.  There is a nice small park from which to view the spillway.

Links & Helpful Hints...
Before you visit a waterfall it is helpful to know the surrounding landscape... we use two free internet services to help.  www.topoquest.com provides free topo maps which can be enlarged and printed.  Access Topoquest and then click "find maps" on their website, put in GPS from our data (without the minus sign), click "search", then click on the first USGS map that has a DRG name, click on the map itself and select zoom level.  To navigate the area... if you want to look at an area left of the map, click on the left edge of the map, etc.  Below each map will be a listing of features shown on the map... a little work and you will learn their system (sometime clicking on the edge will not take you to an adjacent map).

We also use Google Earth.  It is a free service you can download at https://www.google.com/earth/.  Like Topoquest, you put in GPS data (or city, or county and state) and it will "fly" you to the location requested.

There are lots of internet sites that list facts about Wisconsin... one of the best is the Wisconsin DNR site http://dnr.wi.gov/ which has all kinds of info.  Another good site is www.discoverwisconsin.com.
