Our latest travel guide shown above and below documents 445 waterfalls in Wisconsin (more than twice as many waterfall sites as can be found in any other Wisconsin waterfall book in publication).  One of the beauties of our new book is that it lays flat... notice the picture above showing the book of 152 pages folded back on itself and still laying completely flat... and the picture below showing the 7.25x9.75"  book opened to dual pages and laying completely flat (sorry about the fuzzy letters, my camera is not high resolution!).

Details of each waterfall complete with a color picture is shown at each site... each site is shown plotted on a county map so when visiting any county you can visualize where the rest of the falls are in that county.  Each site has GPS coordinates of the waterfall; each site has an estimate of the waterfalls height; each site has an estimate of walking time to get to the falls (includes 10 minutes to park and 30 minutes to take pictures and enjoy the beauty of the falls).  Each site has a walking difficulty score.  Each site provides detailed route instructions from the nearest town plus it lists the walking distance from the parking lot.  More details of these items is further described in the book!

Our book also provides other details...  how waterfalls are named, water rights, a complete index of all the falls, land information regarding land on which they are located (legality of access)... private land, Indian land, Wisconsin state land, federal land, permitted access to private land, etc.!  We have kept the listings concise to save space and keep the cost of the guide low.  The book also lists a few rapids and spillways (when filler was needed to fill a page).   All waterfalls, rapids, and spillways are shown on our website... the total number of sites on our website (counting waterfalls, rapids, and spillways) now totals over 1000 sites, so it will take you a while to see them all!  We encourage you to get out and enjoy nature!
