Help Wanted

"and we pay money... if you are there anyway, you might as well earn a few dollars"

We pay $20.00 for video with sound (our acceptance is quite liberal... see pictures on this website to see the type and quality that we need).  We realize $20 is not much money... but we sincerely appreciate, and thank you, for your help in documenting Wisconsin waterfalls... we publish a travel guide about Wisconsin waterfalls to offset some of our expense, but expenses are well over $10,000 above income in our crusade... yes, it's an expensive hobby but we enjoy it!

Specific Requirements:
1. 30 seconds (or more) of video taken looking upstream from below the waterfall.
Video can be from a video camera or cell phone (with good resolution).  Please use a tripod (or find a tree to lean against to provide shake free video)... desirable to have overall view of the area looking upstream at the falls.
2. We need explicit detailed directions on how to get to the falls without walking on private land.  There is a free GPS tracker for cell phones that will record the route you walked.  The free App is provided by the Leap Fitness Group and is available on Internet at Google Play.
3. We need your estimate of the height of the falls and the exact location of the falls (GPS coordinates if you have them).
4. Video does not have to be current... video could have been taken any time within the past 5 years, but we do need to know the date video was taken.
5. We need a photo/video release that allows us to use the photo/video on our website and in any future travel guides (we will provide the form).  If you want name credit we will credit you on our website, and any future travel guides; with either your first name, your first and last name, or a complete edited bio (limit of 100 words)... whatever your choice... the "form" lets you choose.

Listed below are several waterfall sites that need to be photographed (the list below is a "short" list, more sites may be added in the future).  These are sites that I have been unable to visit (I am not a kayaker and the difficult walks are sometimes too much for my 89 year old legs).  We hope someone can video and document these sites for us.  Some of the sites listed can be accessed by walking, some only accessible by kayak, and "sometimes" drone video is acceptable.  There are many more that we wish we could list, but they are either on private land or on Indian Reservations where access is prohibited (unless you are a member of that tribe).

If you are interested, you need to tell us what site (or sites) you are interested in pursuing... then the following happens:
1. We reserve that site for your pursuit (for a limited time) and await your video.
2. We will provide you with details of everything we know about the site (we usually have a photo of the falls)... we will tell you where the site is located (based on the best knowledge we have of the location), "possible" access routes, round trip walking distances, terrain, anticipated difficulty (1 to 10 with 10 being the most difficult), etc.  In some cases you may need to walk up the stream, or along side the stream within the high water mark, to avoid trespassing on private property... some of the sites needed are in deep woods with no trails.  Some sites are only accessible via kayak.
